July Book Club Selections

For the month of July we chose to venture into the Western genre, choosing two classics. The first, Smoky the Cow Horse, by Will James, not only gives a good idea of how horses think and react, but is written in a cowboy's lingo which gives the reader a real feel of the working cowboy's life. The second, Riders of the Purple Sage by Zane Grey, is the uncensored version of Grey's masterpiece.
