Book Club Titles for January 2016

For January of this new year we have a choice among three titles of light and humorous reading. The first two are novels by acclaimed mystery writer Carolyn Hart, Murder Walks the Plank, and Sugarplum Dead. Let her take us on a visit to the southern island off the coast of South Carolina, Broward's Rock, where Annie Darling and a lovable cast of her friends (and pets) help solve a mystery, while we vicariously enjoy her bookstore, "Death on Demand", with its charming coffee bar and mystery writers' puzzle of the month. Regular and large print copies are in Ainsworth Library.

The third choice, Furiously Happy, is an autobiography by bestselling author Jenny Lawson, as she "explores her lifelong battle with mental illness", and gives us humorous anecdotes along the way. Check with the Orwell Library for a copy.
