April Book Club Choice: Non-fiction

Our non-fiction high-lighted selection this month is a recent study by Dr. Frances E. Jensen, "an internationally known expert in neurology", entitled The Teenage Brain . The secondary choices are two other books on the same subject, Brainstorm by Daniel Siegel, and The Primal Teen by Barbara Strauch.

Summaries are below. Reading these books will hopefully help us to better understand the young people around us, and also provide some insight on our older brains!

Our discussion meeting this month is scheduled for Monday, April 25th. Place and time TBA. All are welcome to read and discuss with us. There are books available at Ainsworth Library in Sandy Creek.
